Bill is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and Certified Public Accountant. He founded Canty Wealth Management in 1987 and has guided clients through multiple market cycles with a disciplined, long-term approach.

Prior to establishing the firm, Bill worked in public sector accounting with the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance, the Office of the State Comptroller, and the New York State Education Department.

He has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce and as President of the Ballston Spa Rotary.

During his free time, Bill enjoys deep-sea fishing, golfing, and sharing time with friends and family.
