Bill Canty, CPA, CFP® - Founder & President

Bill is a CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ practitioner , and graduated with a BBA from Niagara University in 1985. He started Canty Financial Management in 1986 and obtained his CPA experience with the New York State Department of Taxation, State Comptroller, and State Education Department. Professional licenses include CPA, Health & Life Insurance, and NASD series 6, 7, 63, and 65. Certifications include the CFP® practitioner. Bill is Past-Chairman of the Board for the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce, and Past-President of the Ballston Spa Rotary.

Kathy Buckley, CPA, MBA - Corporation Tax Advisor

Kathy is a CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT who graduated with a BS in Accounting from the State University of New York at Oswego in 1988, and earned her MBA at the University of Rochester in 1992. Kathy's primary focus at CFM is on Corporation Tax Preparation and Planning.

Maureen Walsh -Office Manager & Investment Advisor Representative

Maureen has over 18 years experience preparing tax returns, and provides a wide variety of services to assist our clients with their financial needs. Maureen earned her bachelors degree at the University of Massachusetts. She is a Registered Investment Advisor Representative, and has been with Canty Financial Management for six years.

Tina Alteri, CPA - Personal Income Tax Advisor

Tina is a CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT who graduated with a BBA in Accounting from St. Bonaventure University in 1994. Tina has been with Canty Financial Management for eight years, and specializes in personal income tax.

Kathleen Flynn, EA - Personal Income Tax Advisor

Kathy is an IRS Enrolled Agent, and she has been a tax advisor with Canty Financial for nine years. Kathy provides tax preparation for individuals and small businesses. She graduated with a BBA in Accounting from St. Bonvaventure University in 1984.
